Recently there has been a review of the provision of a cut-out on the lower oven door rope-seals, and its affects on oven venting performance. Currently no cut-out is provided on any model.

Some cookers previously had cut-outs on their lower oven door rope-seals, when they had been originally fitted with the shallow door lining. However with the standardised use of a deep door lining on the lower oven on both gas and oil cookers, the situation has been reviewed and a cut-out will be re-introduced as follows.
